1-On-1 Tea Class with Rui

• 1 class: 45min personalised 1-1 virtual tea session.
• 1 course: 4x45min tea class with a tailored learning plan and clarified outcomes.

Rui grew up in Guizhou and moved to London in the late 2000s. Her knowledge of tea is deeply ingrained in her drinking and serving tea as a child, spending time at the Master's Tea House and learning from great masters across the fields of Chinese philosophies, literature, calligraphy, Mahayana Buddhism, Daoism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yi Jing ("i-ching"), Cha Dao and Cha Yi. She was taught by the elders from the indigenous groups in Guizhou, such as Yi, Gelao, Hei Miao and Buyi.

Rui's approach to teaching and learning is traditional: through experience. This means not giving you answers to entertain the intellect but facilitating ways that guide you to clarity and simplicity and support you in coming up with your answers. We will explore what is relevant and truthful to you, given where you're at right now, instead of what is right or wrong. In other words, this journey will not be about being smart but about becoming wise and wiser.
