This is an intimate space facilitated by Rui, the founder of GPT, for you to explore your unique tea journey in-depth. What is shared in the space will be backed by traditional knowledge, root wisdom and how they've been shared throughout generations. Practically, this includes ways of brewing, the history or cultural narratives, tea's journey from earth to cup, or how to connect more deeply with it. 

Each tea session lasts 45 mins. A link will be sent to your order confirmation to book a time. You will also be asked to give us more details about your expected outcomes when you book.

    Cultural Significance

    Rui grew up in Guizhou and moved to London in the late 2000s. Her knowledge of tea is deeply ingrained in her drinking and serving tea as a child, spending time at the Master's Tea House and learning from great masters across the fields of Chinese philosophies, literature, calligraphy, Mahayana Buddhism, Daoism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yi Jing ("i-ching"), Cha Dao and Cha Yi. She was taught by the elders from the indigenous groups in Guizhou, such as Yi, Gelao, Hei Miao and Buyi.
