Welcome to the Master's Tea House, historically known as "The Temple of Awakening" 大觉精舍 in Guizhou, China.
Throughout centuries, knowledge, tradition and culture has been passed down at the tea table and that's how we'd like to present our Tea House to you here. All of our classes, cultural experiences or community events are shared based on the original teachings from our teachers and masters.
When we come home here, may we have the eyes to see
"That no visitor arrives without a gift
And no guest leaves without a blessing."
Touching the earth

Touching the earth - the mindful tea practice.
Loving the earth is an effortless movement that goes far beyond common sense such as recycling and buying ethical products. The key to unlocking this spontaneous, limitless love lies in the way we feel the earth as part of us instead of an external environment which brings about a forced sense of responsibility. With tea as a practice, we can learn and cultivate mindfulness as each mindful step can manifest this boundless love. We are the earth and the earth is us.

Tea For Beginners: Don't read books & learn from tea itself
We've been conditioned to believe that obtaining external information is learning. This class is dedicated to integrate the knowledge within you so that you are on the "right" path of becoming your own tea master. It is for beginners and those who are open-minded to learn tea in the intuitive, empowering way that supports you to come up with your own answers that are uniquely meaningful and practical to you. This is what we consider true, dynamic learning and the skilful means have been passed down to us discreetly from our teachers and their masters.
