In Traditional Chinese Medicine 中醫 /zhōng yī/, cultivating wellness begins with aligning ourselves to the rhythms of nature. Through centuries of observation and testing, ancient sages concluded that each season presents a distinct opportunity to restore balance. In summer, that opportunity is called 三伏天 /sān fú tiān/, the three hottest phases of the year, when 陽氣 /yáng qì/ or Yang energy, surges to its peak. During this time, the body becomes the most open and receptive, making it a rare and crucial window to nourish and strengthen our core systems from within.

According to the guiding principle: 夏養陽 /xià yǎng yáng/ " Summer is for nourishing the body’s Yang". When we harmonise with the yang energy of summer, we can:

• Strengthen digestion 脾胃 /pí wèi/ and build core energy (氣 qì)
